Hi I’m josh from CertaUPS, today I’m going to be doing an unboxing video on the C300R UPS system.

The C300R is a rackmount, line interactive UPS solution available in 1.5kVA 2kVA and 3kVA, this is the 1kVA unit. Let’s take a look at what’s inside the box.

Firstly, you have the feet that the UPS sit on, this enables any rack mount CertaUPS UPS solution to be turned into a tower solution. There’s the warranty card and the user manual and the input lead, the output lead and also the USB connectivity.

We’ll take a look at the unit itself. Like I said at the start of the video this is a rack mount solution but for the purpose of the video I’ve put it on the feet and turned into a tower solution. The screen on the front is a full LCD display and it can be rotated depending on whether you’re using it as a rack mount or a tower.

There are four control buttons on the front and at the back of the UPS there’s the C14 input, eight C13 outlets, the CNMC slot which can also be used for the modbus card or the relay card and the EPO contact for emergency power off. There’s also the serial port and the USB connection. All of the CertaUPS range comes with the USB connectivity as standard.
