C60 Quick Start Guide
This white board animation contains instructions and information on how to plug the C60 UPS in, power the UPS on and power the UPS off.
When taking the UPS out of the box for the first time:
Allow the UPS to reach ambient temperature before turning on
The UPS needs to be fully charged to achieve full autonomy
Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, excessive heat, excessive humidity or in contact with fluids
Allow for 20cm space around the unit
Step 1
Plug the UPS into an electrical outlet, allowing the UPS to charge for at least 6 hours prior to first use.
Step 2
Connect your critical equipment to the UPS outlets at the rear of the unit. These are supported automatically if/when a mains failure occurs.
Only connect equipment that requires surge protection to the surge protected outlets.
Step 3
Press and hold the power button for longer than 1 second to turn the C60 UPS on.
Step 4
Connect modem, phone or network into the surge-protection ‘IN’ outlet at the rear of the UPS unit for surge protection. Connect the ‘OUT’ outlet from the computer with another phone line cable.
To allow for unattended UPS shutdown or startup and status monitoring, connect the communication cable between the UPS and a USB port on your PC.
To power off the UPS
Press and hold the power button to turn the UPS off and remove the mains power supply to fully power off the UPS.
